Anna originally sought out yoga and meditation practice in 2003 as an antidote to a stressful work environment. Consistent practice soon gave way to heightened mental clarity and emotional balance and it's there that she realized how a mindful yoga practice can be a tool for transformation.
After completing a 200-hour training at Global Yoga & Wellness in Chicago, Anna pursued Yin yoga specialization with Paul and Suzee Grilley in 2010 and continues to study with Bernie Clark as her main teacher. With a deep curiosity in weaving together Eastern and Western understandings of wellness, Anna actively studies Restorative Yoga, biomechanics and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. Her thoughtful, lighthearted and mindful classes include opportunities to cultivate ease through movement, building awareness through stillness.
She invites students to slow down, enjoy their practice as way of tuning in and supports individualizing each person’s journey toward well-being.
